| Although formally incorporated in 1996, North Suburban Chicago Chapter volunteers have been working through the Chicago Metro Chapter since it began in 1992. In 1996, 4 homes were rehabilitated in 3 communities with 100 volunteers. In 1997, 10 homes were repaired in 5 communities with close to 250 volunteers. In 1998, 18 homes were worked on with over 500 volunteers. In 1999, the chapter targeted 25 homes for 750 volunteers who donated over 10,3000 hours of their valuable time. |
